The use of the bold blue paint, oak detail and canopy above really helps to anchor this kitchen in place, whilst the sculptural copper base to the island adds subtle complexity not often seen in a residential setting.

UPDATE September 2024: I feel immensely privileged to have been asked by the new owners of this kitchen to redecorate it, fit new handles and make a custom splashback. Images of the new look are below.
