I have just completed the installation of this fitted wardrobe. Light grey melamine interiors and simple white painted shaker style exteriors provide a simple and clean storage solution.

The design is from my module range of furniture, the costs of which can be found in Your Bespoke Furniture Guide.

I am currently installing this rustic AV unit and sliding door. Just the upper TV unit to go.

Meanwhile, back in the workshop, the wardrobes are built and painting of the shaker style exterior parts are well underway.

Next up, a set of wardrobes from my ‘module’ range of wardrobes. These will have my light grey interiors and white painted exteriors. The handles will have a simple brushed nickel finish.

Furniture already in the room is a bold green colour.

Work on the bedroom furniture project is now complete and ready for installation at the end of February. Below are a few progress images.

I am looking forward to starting this project first thing after the Christmas break.

The image above shows my concept design image for a rustic TV unit and a sliding door with antique mirrored glass. These items will complement furniture within the room. The cabinet will incorporate discreet LED lighting and access panels for plumbing in the neighbouring bathroom.

Currently in the workshop

With a certain festive season approaching, I am in the process of manufacturing gifts which will be available from my website shop. There is something very satisfying about seeing a large number of identical, precision parts all laid out ready for assembly.

I have just completed this minimal painted chest of drawers. It lives on a very un-level floor in a grade II listed house. The deep plinth allowed me to scribe it to suit the shape of the floor.

Coming soon

A new system for recording standard operating procedures and work instructions.

I quite often incorporate removable panels or plinths into my furniture. This allows my clients to hide plumbing or electrical installations, as well as allowing free standing white goods to be hidden behind doors. However, it is important to ensure they know how to remove these features. As such, I have developed a system for documenting the instructions they need.

The same system can be used to document SOP’s in the workplace or home and it is currently in use in the UK, the US and New Zealand on a limited trial. It will soon be available through this website.

I feel immensely privileged to have been asked to redecorate one of my favourite kitchens, Copper Kitchen. I was also tasked with fitting new handles, adding a few extra shelves and to make a new custom splashback. The work is now complete and you can see both the original kitchen (in blue) and a sneak preview of the new styling (in grey) below. More images to follow in due course.
